Flights of Fancy
Online Music Workshops with Ceol Connected
Thomas loves pigeons. He notices them all around him on the streets of Dublin but there is one in particular caught his eye. There is something different about his story and Thomas wants to find out his story. Where does he fly off to everyday and what does the city look like from a birds’s eye view?
Join Thomas’ online workshop as he flies around Dublin through stories, songs and music inspired by his feathered friend.
Flap, Glide and Soar like a Pigeon
Online Visual Art workshops with Duffy Mooney-Sheppard. Presented in association with The Ark. Birds flap, glide and soar. Some birds spend their whole lives on the wing and rarely come to land. But Dublin is filled with one well known bird: the pigeon! Usually jostling for space, pigeons are ruling the roosts on the streets and in the skies. Be inspired by these resourceful birds, then design and make your own extraordinary pigeon or fantastical winged bird with visual artist Duffy. Workshops suitable for children age 5-12 years.
In this puppet making workshop, you will create your pair of wings. What kind of bird would you be? Where would you go?
