The annual Run for Rita will attempt to raise funds to help a young Tallaght Boy who has Autism.
The money raised from the event will enable Max Gaynor to get his companion dog four months training in Cork in order to become a service dog. The Run for Rita is in it’s sixth year and is held in memory of Rita Savage who passed away after a battle with Breast Cancer.
The run itself is 5k and takes place on Saturday March 30th at 3:00 pm in Tymon Park. You can register for the race at www.popupraces.ie, or by contacting race organiser Glenda Curtis on 087-958 3714.
