Palmerstown Festival After Covid Proposed
The festival that will be worth waiting for.
These past 12 months have seemed like an age and everyone in Palmerstown has had a really hard year.
Hopefully we are starting to see light at the end of the tunnel and as vaccinations ramp up, we may see a bit of normality.
Palmerstown Community Council and Festival want to make sure that we hit the ground running and that we come out of this pandemic when it ends with a celebratory festival like none other!
We all deserve to celebrate in style.
The festival committee are starting to plan for this now. Like so many people in Palmerstown and further afield, this has been a year that has had a severe financial impact. This has impacted on many of our community groups who rely on grant’s and fundraising to hold events in our community.
At the proposed festival, there will be:
- A family fun day
- Local musicians
- A barn dance style night of music and dance
- A memorial service for all who has passed away
- A permanent form of a memorial for everyone to honour their loved ones down through the year
- And much more
They are asking the people in Palmerstown to support their fundraising for a festival like none other, in whatever way you can, big or small.
If you can please support their Go Fund Me page in whatever way is possible.
