Met Eireann have issued a storm weather advisory for early next week.
The advisory states that “wet and very windy weather” will hit Ireland on Tuesday and Wednesday next week with distruption to travel and flooding expected. Wintry showers might occur too.
In a tweet, Alan O’Reilly from Carlow Weather says that there is “some uncertainty on the track details but it isn’t looking good”.
It is expected that the advisory will be updated on Saturday and warnings announced on Sunday. As the situation develops and Met Eireann confirm warnings, Together FM will keep you updated.
The advisory is valid from this evening right up to Wednesday evening at 6pm.
