Met Eireann have issued a storm weather advisory for early next week.
The advisory states that “wet and very windy weather” will hit Ireland on Tuesday and Wednesday next week with distruption to travel and flooding expected. Wintry showers might occur too.

In a tweet, Alan O’Reilly from Carlow Weather says that there is “some uncertainty on the track details but it isn’t looking good”.
Still some uncertainty on the track details but it isn’t looking good at present. Damaging winds possible with heavy rain and very high seas. Spring tides coinciding with the storm could result in coastal flooding. Stay up to date with forecasts over weekend. pic.twitter.com/EDwm0ENflY
