Agri Aware launched its national healthy eating initiative “Incredible Edibles”, with the help of the 5th class students of Scoil Íde Presentation Primary School, Clondalkin on Thursday the 24th of October 2019.
Now in its 12th year, the Incredible Edibles project aims to educate and empower children with knowledge of the “farm to fork” journey of their food and encourage healthier diet habits through learning to sow, grow and cook their own fruit and vegetables.
Primary school pupils across Ireland are set to participate in this year’s project and benefit from the programme. Each school registered will receive a free kit containing all the must have seeds and tools to start their very own school garden.
