Disability Action Collective (DAC) is inviting you to join us in making our views heard on the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN CRPD). We are particularly interested in hearing from people who live or work in the Ballyfermot, Chapelizod and the surrounding area who identify as having a disability, physical or sensory impairment or mental health condition, as well as their family members and carers.
We will host two Zoom discussion meetings to identify the key issues we face, the barriers to our human rights and to recommend solutions. DAC will make sure that what you have to say at these meetings and the issues or difficulties that you raise will be part of a submission we make to the UN as a local disabled person’s organisation. This submission will take the form of a Shadow Report on the UN CRPD.
