Dublin Bus and Go Ahead Ireland Confirm Christmas Operating Hours

Two major public transport companies in Dublin and the Greater Dublin Area, Dublin Bus and Go Ahead Ireland. have confirmed their festive season’s operating hours.

Dublin Bus have confirmed that a Saturday Timetables will operate on all bus routes on the following dates on Thursday 24, Monday 28, Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 December 2020 and there will be additional early morning depatures on selected routes.

Here are Dublin Bus’ Early Morning Depatures for local routes:

    • From Charlestown at 05:05 and 05:35
    • From Liffey Valley at 05:20 and 05:50

Here are Dublin Bus’ Last Departures on Christmas Eve for local routes:

    • From Merrion Square towards Lucan (Dodsboro) at 20.52, will depart Aston Quay at 21.00.
    • From Lucan (Dodsboro) towards Bachelors Walk only at 21.00.

    • From Merrion Square towards Lucan (Superquinn) at 20.52, will depart Aston Quay at 21.00
    • From Lucan (Superquinn) towards Bachelors walk only at 21.00
  • 25b
    • From Merrion Square towards Adamstown Rail Station at 20.50, will depart Aston Quay at 21.00
    • From Adamstown Rail Station towards Bachelors walk only at 20.55

    • From Merrion Square towards Palmerstown at 20.30, will depart Westmoreland Street at 20.45
    • From Liffey Valley towards Bachelors Walk at 20.25

    • From Merrion Square towards Maynooth at 20.45, will depart Westmoreland Street at 21.00

    • From Captains Hill to Bachelor’s Walk at 20.39

    • From Aston Quay towards Spiddal Park and Park West at 21.00
    • From Parkwest via Spiddal Park towards City Centre at 20.55

Passengers should be aware that the Nitelink, Airlink and Tours will not operate over the Christmas and New Year period.   • December 25th – No Service
  • December 26th – Sunday Service, commeces at 9am
  • December 27th – Sunday Service
  • December 28th – Sunday Service
  • December 29th – Mon – Fri Service
  • December 30th – Mon – Fri Service
  • December 31st – Mon – Fri Service
  • January 1st – Sunday Service
