St John’s De La Salle have been named the overall winner of the Griffith College STEAM Bursary Initiative and have been given a cheque of €5,000. Kylemore College were also a recipient and were given a cheque of €3,000. The initiative is done an effort to increase uptake and participation in STEAM (Science, Technology, Education, Arts, Maths) subjects in schools.
For the initiative Griffith College are in partnership with CPL Recruitment, as well as teaming up with tech giants Microsoft, Core, Integrity360 and Wolfgang Digital with the winning schools getting training and site tours from those companies.
