This week the Ballyfermot Youth Service were granted €73,000 from the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sports Capital Programme 2018.

The fund is the highest amount received by any Dublin City group, who have been allocated over €700,000 from the fund in the last year. Given the recent problems that the Ballyfermot area has seen in regards to anti-social behaviour this year, new funding for youth services is seen as welcome news.
