Acorn, a committee set up to represent people with mental health issues are hosting an Information Meeting on Thursday May 23rd in the Ballyfermot Library from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Acorn are comprised of everyday people with varied skill-sets and experience with mental health issues and the mental health sector. The goal of its current members are to get the ear of the HSE and to approach mental health from the perspective of the patient.

The information meeting is designed to inform the public who they are and what they can do as well as recruiting new members. Acorn meet on the first Tuesday of the Month, with the next meeting taking place on June 4th.
